Job: Rebrand for a strategic media, communications and public relations consultant.
Brief: The approach to redesigning the Source Media & Communications brand identity was to look at how it could work and be legible on a smaller scale as the current logo presented with problems when reduced in size. Looking into the current marketplace for this industry, the red and black were kept as a strong combination, the red especially portrays connotations of strength, determination and excitement.
Solution: With the ‘Expo’ branding package that I offer, it includes five digital concepts from which the client can choose a favourite to refine to the final brand design. I designed a series of combinations which reflected the original brief and how the logo would be best suited on a smaller scale for social media icons. The speech bubble made for a quirky yet memorable design feature used throughout all stationery and marketing collateral. A branding photo shoot by @monicacugnierphoto created more scope when it came to the design of Thomas’s social tiles, stationery and brochures. When you have the combination of an experienced and professional copywriter and graphic designer, your marketing and communications strategy will be a huge success.
